5k Color Run

We had so much fun! Gabby did great, too. She ran some, walked some, was mostly carried by the Mr! Haha what a trooper he was though. He carried a cinch bag full of water, protein bars, diapers, and wipes...plus a 30lb toddler!

We went with the jog/walk group. We finished in an hour and a couple minutes. Not too bad!

There were about 5 color stations set up all along the course. Each one, they'd spray you with chalk. They had other volunteers standing throughout the race cheering you on. Gabby loved going and high fiving them, and they loved her!

I have some video from the race. That will be up in a WITL vlog soon!

Coffee Date Thursday - Catch up!

Tasha from TkbPlus3 from YouTube put together a really fun weekly video idea. Each week there will be a different topic posted. Since this is my first week, I missed the past 2 weeks. So, I am going to play catch up! Just here on the blog. My week 3 video will be live this morning! Go check out my video for week 3, topic is anything you want to talk about that is Easter related. I chose to talk a little about my favorite Easter memories and traditions I'm passing down to Gabby and future baby. Easter Memories

Week 1 topic was "Who Am I?"

I am Desiree. I'm 29, married, and mother. I'm a stay at home mom who sells Scentsy! I'm a lover of makeup - beauty products - and nail polish, obsessed with documenting our life, coffee addict, and a forever want to be runner. I've been married for 3 years. Colorado girl at heart (born and raised for 25yrs!) but now reside in the Midwest.

Week 2 topic was "What inspires me?"

This was more YouTube related. What inspired me to start YouTube was watching other women who were pregnant and they made weekly pregnancy vlogs. I thought that was so neat and knew I wanted to do the same. So sure enough, when I got pregnant, I made a YouTube channel (I have since gotten a new one) and started pregnancy vlogs. Then it grew to posting more vlogs, Gabby monthly updates, monthly favorites, etc. Basically our life. I keep going with it because I love looking back at it and love that Gabby will be able to see the videos when she's older.

Hope you check out this weeks topic, via My YouTube channel !

Baby #3 Week 4-7

Surprise!
We announced our pregnancy when I was about 6 weeks. I was able to get an early ultrasound, for peace of mind. There was a baby and a heartbeat! So far I've just been completely exhausted and nauseous. I'll start the weekly survey next week. Definitely started showing right away. My hubby and I think I'm going to be huge lol. Praying for a healthy pregnancy and a new little one come October!

Won't be anymore posts on baby #2

I haven't updated about it here yet, so, here goes...

Dec 8th, I went to the ER because no other doctors would see me. I had been spotting since mid November and started bleeding Dec 6th. We went and didn't get good news. The doctor examined me and we got an ultrasound. The doctor said I was slightly dilated and that there was no baby. I went in at 9 weeks, we were told everything stopped growing at 6 weeks. When we got our ultrasound, the tech wouldn't say a word. But I could see everything clearly. I could see the sac...but there wasn't a baby in there at all.

It was devastating. Still is most days. I don't understand it and I never will.

I was able to naturally miscarry at home. I have to go back, hopefully, one last time to get more blood drawn. Last they checked, my hcg leves were at 26. So they should be right where they need to be now.

We were so excited when we learned I was pregnant. We tried for just one month and we got pregnant right away. Just as fast as we got pregnant, all of a sudden it was over.

Now....I don't think I want another baby. I did at first, I was being as optimistic as possible when I was going through the miscarriage. But, if I ever have to go through that again, it will wreck me even more. Now, I'm leaning towards "one and done." Why test my luck again, right? I have one beautiful, smart, and healthy little 2yr old. She is more than enough. Silly me for thinking I wanted another one. Maybe it's just not in the cards for me. What will go wrong next time? Maybe I'll be further along and lose the baby. Maybe I'll die during labor, then neither of my kids will have a mother. So many things run through my mind about this.

I'm not sure what part of the healing process I'm in. Or if I'll change my mind about "one and done." Time will tell.

RIP baby T.E.S. xo

Baby #2 - Week 6

Today's date: November 21, 2014

How far along: 6 weeks

Total weight gain: 1lb

Size of the baby: 0.25 inches - size of a sweet pea :)
Sex: Too soon to tell!

Maternity clothes: None! ...yet. I live in leggings :)
Sleep: Sleeping well at night, until I am wide awake at odd hours of the night. Been waking up at 5am every morning, though.

Best moment(s) of the week: When Gabrielle kissed my belly! Also, out of nowhere (I was putting her boots on before we left to her gymnastics class) she said "love you, mommy!" Melted my heart, <3

Movement: Nadda.
Food cravings: Mac and Cheese, pasta, potatoes, and now pizza.

Food aversions: None this week. I haven't tried a grape since last week ;)

Morning sickness: Felt sick about 3 times this week. One time was pretty bad. I had to stop what I was doing, find a jolly rancher (all I have to ease the nausea) and go lay down and fall asleep. That was a close call!

Symptoms: Tired all the time. Little attitude going on. Dry right hand, what? I also had a little encounter with bleeding. I was a little crampy one day and when I went pee, I wiped and there was a little blood. Just dull looking. I kept wiping and a little clot was on my tissue. That scared me. But no further blood has shown up. :)
Labor signs: Too soon.
Belly button in or out: In.

What I miss: not feeling like I'm PMSing 24/7 :)

What I'm looking forward to: Thanksgiving!
