Baby #1 ; Week 23

Today's date: Dec 3, 2011 (Took this yesterday, Dec 2, 2011)

How far along: 23 weeks

Total weight gain: ranges between 7-10lbs.

Size of the baby: 11.5 in ; size of a large mango

Sex: Girl! Girl! Girl!

Maternity clothes: None. Still wearing the bigger work pants/jeans the hubby got me. I can't find my belly band anywhere! It's driving me crazy. My stomach, at the bottom, is pushing out now. So even the bigger pants I've been wearing are getting awkward to wear. I'm trying to find some of those dressy pants with the stretchy top -- not maternity -- they are like gaucho pants. I can't find them anywhere! But they would be perfect. I'll have to shop around Tuesday.

Sleep: Sleeping good. Peeing a lot again. I peed like 5 times the last few nights.

Best moment(s) of the week: Our anniversary! He sent me flowers at work, gorgeous right?! He said they are the Faith Hill set hehe. He also decorated the house, hallway and bedroom. So sweeeeeet!

Movement: I feel her early in the morning and late at night. And random times during the day. She was really moving the other night while I was trying to sleep -- flip flopping all around :) The other morning she was moving and we laid there in bed watching my stomach move and he was feeling her kick/move around. It was sweet.

Food cravings: Chocolate later on in the evening.
Food aversions: So far, anything goes.

Morning sickness: So far, so good.

Symptoms: No more cough! Thank goodness, that was like a 3 weeks cough, ugh!

Labor signs: Too soon.

Belly button in or out: In.

What I miss:  Sleeping on my stomach! 

What I'm looking forward to: Starting her room :) And our doctors appointment on Tuesday, Dec 6th. Excited for the shopping afterwards, too!




I was dreaming of the labor last night. Seemed like I was in the hospital forever. The nurses took me with them to the store, lol, and that is when I realized, it's only December, she isn't due till the end of March -- what was I doing in the hospital!?


I update my weekly photo every week to my Facebook, and I mentioned after posting this picture, I hope that she gets M's tanned skin and doesn't end up with my huge forehead!


I also noticed my hair is super soft this week. Like baby soft. :)
